Acetate
Scirocco glasses are made from cellulose acetate , a natural material obtained from cotton and plant fibres.
Unlike common plastics like TR90 or Bio-based G850, acetate is denser, shinier and more durable.
It does not deform, maintains its color over time and gives that warm sensation to the touch typical of carefully made products.
Each frame is hand-polished to achieve a deep, vibrant effect, like the Mediterranean light that inspired it.
It's not just a frame: it's material that conveys style, substance, and authenticity.
Lenses
Polarized CT
Scirocco lenses combine protection, comfort and clarity in all light conditions.
They are all polarized with a category 3 UV400 filter : they eliminate reflections, improve contrast and protect 100% from UVA and UVB rays.
The scratch-resistant and hydrophobic treatment keeps the lenses clean, resistant and always transparent, while the balanced color rendering restores a natural and deep light, that of the Mediterranean that inspires us.
